REPENT

This was the seen most recently on the campus of Yale University in connecticut USA. a young born-again (exCon) was geeted with some yalie "push-back" on the 3rd day he strong armed his way onto their campus with his unwelcomed sidewalk sermons.

Repent is not a bad theme. Will the GOP repent for their hero Ronald Reagan and the (*ongoing) Southern Strategy?
The 5 Pillars of Reagan's Racism:

1.Right wing icon Ronald Reagan opposed the 1964 Civil Rights Act.

2.
the very next year, Reagan opposed the other major piece of civil rights legislation of that era, the 1965 Voting Rights Act.

3.third pillar of Ronald Reagan's racism skips forward in time to 1980, when he began his presidential campaign.Reagan chose to give a campaign speech -- some say it was the kickoff speech to his campaign,he spoke outside of Philadelphia, Mississippi? After all, the FBI's investigation was still open. The case had drawn international attention. What better way for Reagan to erase the stain on himself for having opposed both the Civil Rights Act and the Voting Rights Act?He was there to further the GOP's Southern strategy. He didn't mention the murders of Chaney, Goodman and Schwerner at all.Reagan also didn't apologize for his opposition to the Civil and Voting Rights Acts. Reagan told the nearly all-white crowd, that "I believe in states rights."

4.
In the early 1980's, the campaign to make Martin Luther King's birthday a national holiday was coming to a head. You can imagine, I'm sure, what type of person was supporting such an effort, and what type of person was in opposition. And yes, there he was, the Gipper, in all his Southern strategy glory, opposing making Martin Luther King's birthday a national holiday.

5. In the 1980's,
Ronald Reagan opposed the international boycott of South Africa. Instead, Reagan insisted that quiet diplomacy would work. He called his policy "constructive engagement."
Ms(now Baroness)Thatcher (at Reagan's coffin) must also have her own cryptic ideas about humans she has no affinity for. These sentiments are cultivated within the family and perpetuated into the culture.

Tata Group launches water purifier for the masses
By ERIKA KINETZ (AP) – 1 day ago
MUMBAI, India — At about two feet tall, it may turn out to be the world's most compact revolution: The Tata Swach, launched Monday, is a water purifier priced for the masses, which India's Tata Group hopes will help save the lives of millions of people who die each year of waterborne diseases.
"This is opening up a complete new market," said R. Mukundan, managing director of Tata Chemicals Ltd.
The Tata Swach — Hindi for "clean" — meets U.S. Environmental Protection Agency standards, doesn't require running water, electricity, or boiling and is priced so that the mass of rural Indian consumers can afford it, executives said.
The water filter grew out of a decade of research and development, led by three different companies in the Tata Group. Tata is one of India's largest conglomerates, making everything from table salt to Jaguar automobiles — as well as the ultra-cheap Nano compact car, which like the Swach filter targets a lower income rural market many companies have ignored.
I've been lazy and not worked on the MpZ faerie Newsletter (overdue by several YEARS) But now that Rich has send me his pictures for the "butt-page" I have no excuses.
That said -it's been a couple of weeks of me feeling very under-the-weather with chest pains(heart?) and chest pains(lung?) and butt pain(hemms?) and more aches and pains like an almost broken truck in dire need of a check up. I even had a headache, which are extremely rare for me). I need an english speaking gay male doctor at a reasonably close distance and need to probe around to see who that could be. Ouf!

I've discovered the new and beautiful Berlin "Grimms" Library (part of Humboldt University) with the intent to do some research for my next project - a semi solo exhibit up in Reinikendorf.
I intend to show the "Shrine..." project and add several pieces to it. Specifically some intaglio/cameo-medallions arranged as constellations of the 'godess' (hopefully on rich blue or red velvet)
