This group of people put themselves at great risk from every direction. Deeply rejected by many jews and misunderstood, i would imagine, by jewish hating muslims as well.

Their reaffirmation of patriarchy is of course problematic (for me), but that is shared with the deeply religious muslims who support them as well.
Its good none the less that they are around and I guess they have had no choice but to be so  dramatic and are still silenced from the visuals of corporate media in the west (and perhaps exploited in the arab press) .
There needs to be a clear understanding that Zionism is on its own trajectory and should not be confused in its totality with jewery(is that a word? i think so). Like the American evangelicals he is a profound believer of miracles (in its fantastic biblical moses sense).
I do find it disturbing that he considers the German holocaust which ensnared 6 million jews (still a number that is unfathomable) must have been the "will of God". OK. That in his argument still leaves me speechless. I would find it problematic and difficult to say that the enslavement of africans for a number of centuries (with the complicity of the arab merchants and african converts and perhaps missionaries) was the will of God (or some have said the Orishas). Ouf!
