today I was getting myself together. emails, phone calls, appointments, dinner plans etc.from one email I was able to look at some works (via Universes in Universes) by some artists I know as acquaintances or via intermediaries.
These 3 images are by Kader Attia and I like them very much (his other work i find too french in it's emptiness) "The Small Dome of the Rock, 2010 Video installation", "untitled (couscous) 2009", "Oil and sugar #2. 2007,Video installation". His professional trajectory has been impressive. I have always avoided "architecture" as a topic and image in my work. I am slowly reconsidering that choice- it has allowed me not to be tethered by an earlier education.
