It is visual poetry- perhaps self indulgent in comparison to Santiago Sierra's <the penetrated>
both of which were mentioned in a survey of xrated performance art.
It's a great subject. a difficult one. Back in the mid 90s I had considered the provocation of putting myself up for auction here in Berlin at a fund raiser. Your (black) slave for 48hours...I opted at the time against it, as I had not properly assembled HOW i might document the situation properly.
