DAY AWAKENING

I am sloooowly arising from my travel/gathering mental (and emotional) fog.
I've been surfing online for about a day or so with news catch-up of sorts as well as re-entering into the tasks and burdens that lay ahead.
Saturday I saw Dann & Johan and took them all around the neighborhood and we finished with dinner on Chamißoplatz. J was developing a very interesting film docu project and he impressed me much more than when we first met back in Ghent some 5years ago when I traveled with the BF for the Tran Exhibition by Estelle (we stayed at a B & B rec by Dann in fact). D&J make such a super sweet couple. I was impressed by their candor and openness and sometimes smartness- i could easily see myself seduced by them (emotionally, intellectually and physically) if i were to live in Belgium.

Indeed I have also been looking at a bunch of online (for example on http://viciouslittleboy.tumblr.com and  http://1000images.tumblr.com http://nudebeat.tumblr.com/post/8082469826  http://thug-gifs.tumblr.com/  )fotos that give me a "rise"- perhaps the after-effects of both the recent Faerie gathering "energies" as well as the nice day with D 'n J.

I even ran across this HOT pervy foto of Dominic (by Cassena). Dom's removed all that fabulous hair and beard these days-I think unfortunately it is the deep strong-hand of nyc survival strategies.

This map was placed on Facebook today and it really SPOT-ON with regards to the way americans SEE the world. Though it is done with irony it is saddly very much the perception and belief among Americans and leads to the apathy and tragic choices of it's isolationist POV. (orig source was flickr)
