RETURN LANDING

I am just returning from the Terschelling 2011 Faerie Gathering experience.

Devedasi (Tortelino)was sweet to see after years away from Berlin. Great 1on1 prostate/ butt massage from Devedasi with surprising ease and much good intellectual/spiritual/political/instructive conversational interchange! a revelation that it CAN BE very easy and enjoyable to explore the butt without any harmful chemicals like poppers etc (which I refuse to use)!
I had placed the wonderful 32minute video link on XTube video "Ass Play 101- how to take a dick up your ass and enjoy it" on our gathering newsgroup prior to arrival thus I had made it already clear that I was very interested in a professional teacher to assist in creating such a workshop (which I missed while working in the kitchen as I had promised) When i was young such helpful info for young (or older) gay men just did not exist(!) like this from the UK on Getting Fucked.

Phagus (Stefan)and Anketon (Kitchen Empress, Peter) are a very nice dutch couple based in Amesfoort I believe.

Sexy-Ears (Daan) had a wonderful tattoo depicting a native-american sky-constellation of sorts. He and his partner (not at the gathering) bought an apt in Bergmankiez-Berlin though their base is Amsterdam. He was disarmingly thoughtful in his commentaries.


Some faes gave me pause for thought :
Cuddles-slut (Marc)and i would reach a brick wall very quickly as my thoughts did not concur with his odd anarchistic conspiracy theories and oddly blind optimism that struck me as rather colonial if not patronizing. But he was an accomplished singer/musician and a talented polyglot.
Bindu (Eitan)seemingly clueless with boundaries and an aroused sex puppy annoyed me day after day with his initial attempts to tongue-kiss me without my interest or approval. His mandala book is very clever but not as academic as i could be. References to Carl Jung's interest with the mandala was new for me.

This unexpectedly became the Faerie Gathering's defacto and so apropos "Theme Song" as the finale of the NoTalent Show sung by Zeb with a chorus of men including Sunflower and Devedasi and an goddess played by Shameless. I had never heard it before- but REALLY enjoyed it! Everyone seemed to have known it before:

The most surprising performance came from "OpenAir" who Sang a song to our bewilderment -I was one of the few who screamed with politically-incorrect laughter as this brave deaf man bared his soul and deaf-mans whines to the faeries. It was a real brutal reminder of our privilige as hearing people!! It was a very very special moment


I went with Merlijn and Shameless to one of the ilsands' cemeteries. There were some beautiful and pithy gravestones and texts.

Amy Winehouse the singer died yesterday at the age of 27 and joins the other now legendary  performers who somehow fukt-up at such a tender age of 27 with drugs (Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison etc.). I very much liked her music but kept some distance because of the trashy drugs. Like JJoplin she is a white woman (jewish) whose claim to fame was her convincing rendition of what some would characterize as a black voice. I unfortunately look at this with suspicion and am thinking of the inverted situation of a black singer with a "white" voice (could that be Jesse Norman or perhaps Joan Armatrading ...?) Perhaps overall the comparison is extremely unfair-I am ambivalent about the subject.
