today sucked. perhaps because i only got 6hours or less of sleep prior to needing to get my ass in gear to have paula pass by and help her shop for some irons at the local Trödelladens at Lausitzer, Pückler and Landwehrkanal Kreuzkölln.
Adding insult to injury one of her irons BURNED me and i am having to contend with a wounded finger.
We ran to the Apotheke (Reinie's office had already closed by midday)
The images coming out of Follterre look better and better every year! it is really amazing and wonderful what the community spirit seems to be creating there.
The states just had an earthquake the other day... from the eastcoast of new england to Wash DC it was felt.
They are NOT prepared, from my observation, for any kind of disaster. I think its been decades of lip service.
The Washington monument (the obelisk) is damaged-- one can imagine many more now unstable structures. This coming weekend a Hurricane is expected to pass through NY (named Irene) and yet there is no legitimate discussion in the states regarding climate change.
