PRUSSIA STILL EXISTS

German Royalty wants to be invisible , and for the most part are successfully so, this must be well coordinated with German media (which most certainly must in some way be partly owned by this royal class of influential/powerful families of privilge)- I think THIS is very interesting and deserves some focus.

I have tried to also see if Gay or homosexual or , god forbid, queerness exists at all in the Royalty world which is deeply "conservative"(to their mindless detriment perhaps-). They are part of the planets Money and business elite regardless what is said or published to the contrary regarding loss of wealth.
One openly gay Prince (Dimitri of Yugoslavia(Serbia) "designs" jewelry and i believe has outed himself publicly) can be heard in this NYTimes Audio Slide show !I have my own personal opinions and thoughts about HIM since we have run into each other numerous times. Fortunately I don't care much for royalty.

They (German Nobility)still seem to still exist- under the official public radar that is

"The great-great grandson of Kaiser Wilhelm II wed over the weekend in the eastern German city of Potsdam. Here, the happy couple, Georg Friedrich Prince of Prussia, 35, and Sophie Princes of Isenburg, 33, share a kiss after tying the knot at the Church of Peace on the grounds of Frederick the Great's famous Sanssouci Palace. Their ceremony included the reading of a personal blessing from Pope Benedict XVI."
If there was still a royal family THESE guys would be  the German imperial couple.
She is by far our most obscure royal bride of 2011. Yet her sisters have connected the family to the most impressive titles of the Gotha, and she is set to marry the man who would be Kaiser (if only Germany was still a monarchy instead of a republic.) That man, a Prussian prince and head of the Hohenzollern dynasty, was her childhood sweetheart. Marcia Tracy and Ashley Michael report.

Princess Sophie Johanna Maria was born on 7 March 1978 in Frankfurt, Germany, the daughter of Prince Franz Alexander, Fürst zu Isenburg and Christine, Countess von Saurma. She has two brothers and two sisters: The Hereditary Prince Alexander, Prince Viktor, Princess Katharina, and Princess Isabel. Isabel’s husband is Prince Carl, Fürst von Wied. Katharina is married to Martin, Archduke of Austria. Sophie and her siblings grew up in Birstein, Hesse and her family maintains a base in Munich.

Sophie’s engagement to Georg Friedrich was announced on Friday, 21 January this year. The major German magazines mentioned it. Sophie and Georg Friedrich are an attractive, blonde, and longtime couple. They are separated in age by two years. He is 34, she is 32. She is an HSH, he an HIRH. She is Catholic, he is Protestant. Both studied business in Freiberg. Sophie also studied in Berlin. Today, Sophie works in Berlin for a consulting firm that works with non-profit organizations, while Georg Friedrich works in Rostock “for a company that markets the patents in the field of higher education.” Sophie’s consulting firm is Bertelsmann AG. It is a media consulting firm.
It is believed that the wedding will take place in Potsdam. It falls within the 950th year of the House of Hohenzollern, of which Georg Friedrich is the head. The wedding is probably going to be lowkey — even Zara’s wedding will receive more attention – but it will be elegant, with a few hundred guests — family and “close friends” from all the royal and noble houses of the Gotha — assembled in some old church on the estate of a castle. It has been reported in the German presses that Sophie will wear a veil that is an Isenburg heirloom.

The couple are mutually royal. Indeed, Sophie is following in the footsteps of her sisters by marrying within the royal bloodlines. Georg Friedrich is a double descendent of Queen Victoria — via two of her children, and her grandson, Kaiser Wilhelm II, and if things had gone differently in the First World War, he’d be the Kaiser today. Yet for all this royal blood, you have to be a pretty hardcore royalist to even know about this pair. They go about their lives — their work, their love for each other, and even social networking – in absolute obscurity. Professionally, Sophie is just Sophie Isenburg. (Source)
