INSPIRATIONAL NOTATIONS 2

i am not yet back to normal...though i am not sure what  normal might yet mean for me.
i have been in a fog since the faerie gathering and not really re-entered the berlin day to day reality. the taking down of the recent  installation at the Oranienstraße gallery space was not as arduous as i thought it might be- though it was a bit off-putting that they were breaking down the "walls" as well as thaking down the artworks.
I will make several new constellations... one for a september exhibition and one very small to pay for the large frame the new one will require.
i have been also trying to work on a new website. a HUGE endevour, but in all honesty well worth doing and less work than it would be to make a (much needed) book project.

a bizarre hi-jacking of gang hand-signs by an art photographer http://www.joshuascottphoto.com/movie.htm
they are very fetishistic (consumerist). i know nothing about the fotog- they feel like a Bennetton styled cultural appropriation to me. but indeed the fotog has the license to take on the subject. my "read" is that the gang-culture exists also among the  wealthy with all its violence as well.

This Ghost car is a trip and a half! I believe it was created for an auto show during time of the pontiac model's inception http://www.ignant.de/2011/08/03/pontiac-ghost-car/
