It's beginning to get colder-I can FEEL it.
The Berlin sunsets are earlier and the sunrise later. It fills me with uncertainty (and dread) as to when it will begin to make Winter living very uncomfortable.

I have had some difficulty committing Centigrade temperatures to memory [other than 0ºC=Freezing and 100ºC=boiling].
It's been the warmest, and most comfortable Summer for me in Berlin, with temperatures easily reaching in the 30sºC.
If $ were not an issue in my life- I would have flown to the "Burning Man" Festival (in the USA) which I have wanted to experience for years. Perhaps there are valid criticisms that have evolved through the years but seeing some participants like this gentlemen (photographed by Rosie) gives me a certain pleasure.

Burning man takes place in a desert (with great heat and sand storms). A temporary village-city is created by spirited creative people who come to celebrate what has become an invented neo-pagan ritual culminating in burning an anonymous figure in effigy after a week or so of Bachanalian amusements.
